Winter will vanish in an instant

Manitoba is recovering from that Colorado Low that hit a huge swath of the country. But within a couple of days of Easter the daily high is supposed to soar to 16 degrees Celsius or higher. Spring will no longer be just a sad joke.

I am not sure I am a good enough photographer to capture the stark beauty of the spare landscape around here at this time of year, but here are a few pictures that try.

Thanks you to all of those who have been leaving comments. All of them are interesting. Some of them are useful, in a practical sense. I really enjoy seeing them.

A friend pointed out this piece in Saturday’s Globe and Mail about driving an EV in winter conditions. Brother, you don’t know the half of it. But it all seemed correct to me.
