Manitoba is recovering from that Colorado Low that hit a huge swath of the country. But within a couple of days of Easter the daily high is supposed to soar to 16 degrees Celsius or higher. Spring will no longer be just a sad joke.

A friend pointed out this piece in Saturday’s Globe and Mail about driving an EV in winter conditions. Brother, you don’t know the half of it. But it all seemed correct to me.
Wonderful photos, Paul. Ukrainian church evokes strong memories of travelling in northeastern Poland and mosques, believe it or not. In the early 1700s when Tatars were given land as rewards for being on the ‘right’ side in war, they built wooden mosques that looked like local churches in many ways because that is what locals knew how to build !
