If you need inspiration for podcasts - I think you would enjoy BBC's "The Rest is History". And since it is that time of the year, I think their episode 175 on crucifixion is very interesting.
I hope you packed your own version of Rowie to snack on. Be careful listening to the History of England Podcast guy….I find his voice to be somewhat sedating.
From a risk management perspective, of greater concern than the clicks your EV can deliver per charge with the daunting upcoming leg of your journey, is your strategic misstep of disrespecting “the team” before you enter Jets airspace. Safe travels Paul! See you next week,
I have driven back and froth several times from Banff, Alberta to Ottawa in winter but not with an EV (in fact, my trip was in a really old VW bug when I was 18-19 years old…. I had to use some kind of a tubular thing to vent heat into the car and I had a breakdown somewhere near Wawa now that I think about it !!). Have a great trip, Paul ! I look forward to your posts.
From Sudbury, is taking the northern route - Highway 11 - possible? It’s flatter and, at least to Hearst, more inhabited than the southern route. It’s the route most trucks take. I don’t know about EV stations, though.

Love a good travelogue. Best of luck and thanks for the book and podcast recommendations.

I support them through thick and thin, but they need to earn our respect.

Interesting read Paul...and something we all need to consider over next few years.
Cheers

For chargers, you need to cling to the lake, for sure.
