When I was a television reporter in Alberta, I worked with a cameraman (they were all men in those days) who said that any idiot could take pictures of the Rockies. What took skill, he said, was taking pictures of the prairies and capturing what people from around there see as the beauty of that part of the world.
I did try my hand at the prairies in an earlier post. I have now traversed the Rockies and here are a few scenes any idiot could capture.

Great photos of the mountains require great patience and much waiting. Not something most TV cameramen (in the past) possessed. I am jealous of your journey. It encompasses a great deal of my past.
