I have a piece in today’s Globe and Mail that relates my experience crossing a big chunk of the continent in my EV this spring to the challenge of ramping up the charging infrastructure. I think that link is paywalled but I will see whether I can post the text here in coming days. For those who were following along on this Substack as I did the trip, there are no surprises. In fact, one friend sent me an email this morning saying parts were “oddly familiar”.
I haven’t been posting here since my EV trip, but I have some more travel planned this fall—to the Maritimes and Mississippi—and to the UK in the winter and Hong Kong in the spring. So, stay tuned!
Thanks, Paul, I can always imagine you talking to me when I am reading you. Very interesting as so many of us mull over the purchase of an EV. Also, while I have you, I am LOVING Alex on Twitter !! He projects positively like no one I have ever met. You must be delighted.
Hi Paul, I read it this morning and want you to know that it was really a great piece. Having read of your sojourn while it was happening provided an exciting way to keep informed of much of what was in your column. To reread parts it in the G&M was perfect as the info needed to have a much wider audience. Kudos to you!!!!!
