Lovely memories of Oxford. I was at the LSE in the 70s with the Intl History Department having an affiliation with New College because my prof, James Joll was a New College grad before he went into SOE during the war. Some very nice weekend gab fests although I can't recall what was discussed. I do remember being woken up with a hot cup of tea by the college porter. Thanks Paul.

Oh my god. I originally applied to LSE but didn’t get in because Joll wasn’t interested in supervising my proposed thesis. lol.
